I think you might be right, something smaller might be what I'm wanting to compliment the shell. I think I just realized what it is that I don't like about this combination, and that is that the blue beads are glued together to keep them in the "V" shape. Doing this caused what would otherwise be completely symmetrical to become asymmetrical, as the one half circle overlaps the half circle on the other bead that would have mirrored it. Not sure if that makes sense, but your comment made me take another look to see if I could figure out what it was that bugged me about this design, and I did! Still not sure if it bugs me enough to change it though. ;) Thanks too for the comments about the shell! I do hope to do a tutorial of them someday, after I get the beast of my studio under control and reorganized (always so many plans)... and I'm sure that you'd be able to do a fine job of creating one. createmyworldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16461188369833065598noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7304907653397729317.post-8566509121422035342016-09-03T10:51:26.508-07:002016-09-03T10:51:26.508-07:00I meant to comment on this weeks ago. I'd love to learn how you do it, but I'm not sure I could come close to your level of realism even with detailed steps. I also think the contrast of the blue with the shell works as an overall focal. The only reason I can see to re-do it would be if you wanted to put even more emphasis on the shell by using something a bit smaller.Tammy Adamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14018519669764443230noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7304907653397729317.post-22620446865251490022016-07-26T05:49:25.695-07:002016-07-26T05:49:25.695-07:00Aw, thank you Line, for your kind comments. My difficulties are on the colors and their intensity. I hope life takes a more serene turn for you. I lost my grand-mother this week as well. Although I was not as close as you were to yours it was still an emotional time. My condolences on your loss.playsculptlivehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01924858077909970056noreply@blogger.com
